Posse Unit New Single ‘Live For Tonight’ Out Now

Taking influence from the likes of  Daft Punk, The Wknd, DNCE & David Guetta this latest offering is set to be this year’s track of the summer.

Ben talks about the meaning behind the new single ’Live For Tonight’ was written with the end of Lockdown insight. A release from being held back by restrictions and is about the joy of being able to live freely and to party without a care in the world. It’s about two friends just going out and getting drunk post Lockdown. Forgetting life’s troubles’

The track features vocals from MTN Project Fame West Africa winner Olawale Ojo and is produced by Murariu Andrei (Marc Joy, Bad Ninja, Ottila)

ABOUT POSSE UNIT

Posse Unit was started in May 2021 as a way of making music even though there were barriers keeping people apart.  Using social media and the freelance website Fiverr, Ben has connected with creatives from Argentina, Nigeria, Romina & South Africa making Posse Unit a truly global collective.

2021’s ‘Everybody Party’ has over 100k streams on Spotify and went Top Ten in South Africa Dance Chart.  Featured by Billboard, BBC Sounds and on iheartradio in the US the track was a global success played on over 150 radio stations and still gaining popularity over a year after its release.

Based in the UK, Ben has been involved in music since picking up a guitar at the age of 8 when he discovered his talent and love for writing. He went on to win Radio Bristol’s Battle of the Bands and played Radio 1’s ‘In The City’ festival.

Ben has had success as a songwriter and was asked to write the unofficial England Women’s World Cup song ‘Hear The Lionesses Roar’ in 2018.

2022 is sure to be a big year for the project with 5 more singles recorded and ready for release by the end of 2022, including an Ibiza Club mix of Live For Tonight.

‘Live for Tonight’ is slated for release on April 4th, 2022, through Brick Jet Recordings
