The Gen.IT founder and SHE is SCIENCE initiator tells about the next stage of the project.
Kyiv, Ukraine (PRUnderground) July 28th, 2021
The exhibition SHE is SCIENCE consists of twelve stylized portraits of prominent Ukrainian female scientists. The portrays are created by modern illustrators Anna Ivanenko, Anna Sarvira, Olga Degtyareva, Jenya Polosina, and Sergiy Maidukov. Instead of ordinary captions, the illustrations are accompanied by essays that won the all-Ukrainian competition. In these essays, the girls-contestants aged 14 to 21 told about the life of 12 heroines of the exhibition and their contribution to the development of science.
Any public institution of Ukraine can apply for ordering a free copy of the exhibition SHE is SCIENCE to hold an exposition in its town or village. In total, the organizers are planning to distribute 300 copies of the collection.
“We have already received more than a hundred applications for a free copy of an exhibition. It is very gratifying to see that many Ukrainian cities, towns, and villages support the initiative. For those who have not yet had time to order a copy, do not worry. Another 200 sets are waiting for your applications,” says Sergey Tokarev, the project initiator, IT investor, and founder of Gen.IT.
The organizers of the project cover all the costs of transporting the exhibition items.
Let us remind you that SHE is SCIENCE is an educational art project created and implemented by the educational social initiative STEM is FEM.
