The colour scheme on this particular Veyron could be referred to as “An acknowledgement of history” with the two toned paint work (black body with red wings) originates as far back as the 1920’s, red and black also being the original Bugatti Launch colours.The Veyron’s interior is quite spectacular, the attention to detail is magnificent, and due to the Veyron being spec’d by Romans International it includes the added extra of red stitching to both the steering wheel and gear stick. Features such as the Parmigiani watch both usable as a clock and a watch, the small hidden SatNav in the rear view mirror to the turned alluminium centre piece, were just fantastic. “Every third set of tyres the Veyron has it will need a new set of rims” Marc explained. Some say this is completely unnecessary but it is not at all. Bearing in mind driven flat out it will take only nine minutes to empty the fuel tank and just 12 to finish the tyres.

The Veyron is almost a role-model. “Logically it is a research development tool for the rest of the brands.” Marc explained to me how the other brands such as Bentley, Lamborghini and Audi all have similarities to the Veyron, for example 4-wheel drive-Developed by Bugatti and now used with the three brands above. This is the case with the W16 engine, in which the Bentley carries the W12. The bold, beautifully designed exterior is like a bullet, completely aero dynamic and designed so specifically to penetrate the air to achieve 253mph.

To cope with that unbelievable heat the W16 generates, the engine has a number of ten radiators and sits completely exposed in the centre of the Veyron. “It is again over engineered” The W16 engine is the comparison of two V8’s angled as a ‘W’ configuration. Definitely a car for the history books.
